About Bankside
The district of Bankside lies within Borough of Southwark on southern bank of River Thames between Blackfriars Bridge and just before London Bridge. It is a part of Better Bankside, which is one of the Business Improvement Districts. It is a part of Chaucer and Cathedrals electoral wards.
The district enjoys good transport links due to nearby tube stations and railway stations. The Blackfriars tube station is the new eastern terminus of Circle Line and District Line.
